Flora Miranda, an Austrian fashion designer, is challenging how people think and feel about the industry.
After studying at the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp, Miranda, whose haute couture label blends the digital and physical, cut her teeth at Iris Van Herpen under former CEO Bradly Dunn, and is regularly hailed as the next Van Herpen. Her futuristic silhouettes and sustainable designs are inspired by her family of artists and musicians, and she’s often called the ‘haute couture rebel’. Following the Covid-19 outbreak, she launched an open call for virtual fashion designs, giving a platform for individuals to express themselves during the pandemic.
